We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
