Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
Children of Israel, remember My blessing wherewith I blessed you, and fulfil My covenant and I shall fulfil your covenant; and have awe of Me. 40 And believe in the message I have sent down which fulfils that [predictions about the last prophet in their Scripture] which you already possess and do not be foremost among those who deny its truth. Do not sell My revelations for a paltry price; fear Me alone. 41 And cover not Truth with falsehood, nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is). 42 Establish worship, pay the poor-due, and bow your heads with those who bow (in worship). 43 ۞ Would you order people to do good deeds and forget to do them yourselves even though you read the Book? Why do you not think? 44 Help yourselves (in your affairs) with patience and prayer. It is a difficult task indeed, but not for the humble ones 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
