He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and then turned away 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 As for him who was indifferent, 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 and who has fear of God, 9 you pay him no heed. 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and virtuous scribes. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 Of what did He create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him. 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Let the human reflect on the food he eats, 24 That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance, 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 And produce therein corn, 27 grapes, vegetables, 28 And olive and palm trees 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage: 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 Mother and father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And faces on that Day! upon them shall be gloom. 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
