The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
