We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
