The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 The Merciful, the Compassionate 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
