And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Our provision (for you) will never be exhausted. 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell; they shall enter it, so evil is the resting-place. 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 “Here is another group that was with you, falling along with you”; they will answer, “Do not give them plenty of open space; they surely have to enter the fire – let them also be confined!” 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them? 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
