The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
