Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
