And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
