The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
