O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 And beware of the Fire gotten ready for the infidels. 131 And obey Allah and the messenger, that ye may find mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing. 133 who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good; 134 And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. 135 their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing through them, where they will abide forever. How excellent will be the reward of those who do good works. 136 Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied. 137 This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. 138 So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers. 139 If you have been struck by some misfortune, so they (the disbelievers) too have been struck earlier with the same misfortune; these are the days in which We have allotted turns to people; and so that Allah may make known the believers and may bestow martyrdom to some of you; and Allah does not befriend the unjust. 140 And so that Allah may purify* the believers, and destroy the disbelievers. (* Forgive them their sins, if any.) 141 Did you think that you could go to Paradise before God knew which of you fought for His cause and which of you bore patience? 142 And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it) 143
