T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 When he came close to it, a voice called out, "Moses, 11 "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. 12 I Myself have chosen you; therefore, give ear to what is revealed. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Although it is certain that the Day of Judgment will come, I prefer to keep it almost a secret so that every soul will receive the recompense for what it has done (on its own). 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent running along. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 Now clasp thy hand to thy arm-pit; it shall come forth white, without evil. That is a second sign. 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." 24
