Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden, 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him). 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 shall not be able to tempt anyone away from Allah 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 And surely they used to say: 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 assuredly they shall be helped, 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 So turn (away) from them for a while. 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
