We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
