And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
