Al-Naml 7 of 7
And the Day when We will raise from every nation an army that denies Our signs – so the former groups will be held back for the latter to join them. 83 Until, when they come (before the Judgment-seat), (Allah) will say: "Did ye reject My Signs, though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?" 84 They will become subject to punishment because of their injustice. Thus, they will not speak. 85 Have they not seen that We have created the night for them to rest and the day for them to see. In this there is evidence for the believing people. 86 On the day the Trumpet is blown, and terrified is whosoever is in the heavens and earth, excepting whom God wills, and every one shall come to Him, all utterly abject; 87 And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid, and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud-- the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly; surely He is Aware of what you do. 88 Whoever shall come [before Him] with a good deed will gain [further] good therefrom; and they will be secure from the terror of that Day. 89 But those who come with an evil deed shall have their faces thrust into the Fire: 'Are you recompensed except for your deeds' 90 I have only been commanded to serve the Lord of this territory which He has made sacred; to Him belongs everything. And I have been commanded to be of those that surrender, 91 to recite the Quran." Whoever follows its guidance, follows it only for the good of his own soul; and as for him who goes astray, just say, "I am only a warner." 92 Then say, "Praise be to God! He will show you His signs and you will recognize them. Your Lord is not unaware of what you do." 93

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
