Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
