Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, 16 And the close of night, 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 So where are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills – the Lord of the Creation. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
