By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 and gently take it away; 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 to be followed by further [convulsions]! 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say, "That, then, would be a losing return." 12 Surely they will need no more than a single stern blast, 13 and lo, they will all be in the open plain. 14 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 And say to him, "Would you like to reform yourself? 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 and gathered his people and declared: 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 Wherefore Allah laid hold of him with the punishment of the Hereafter and of the present. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
