۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And halt them so that they may be questioned. 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 We had no authority over you, in fact, you were a rebellious people. 30 and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement. 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 So all of them on that day are sharers in the chastisement. 33 Even so We do with the sinners; 34 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 No, indeed, he has brought the truth, and confirmed the Messengers. 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 42 In Gardens of Felicity, 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 They will turn to each other and ask questions. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me. 56 And but for the favour of my lord, I should have been of those brought forward. 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum? 62 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. 63 for, behold, it is a tree that grows in the very heart of the blazing fire [of hell,] 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of Shayatin (devils); 65 and they eat of it, and of it fill their bellies, 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then surely their return is towards hell. 68 for, behold, they found their forebears on a wrong way, 69 So they in their footsteps are rushing. 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
