Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe to those who pray 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
