But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
