Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray. 116 In His place they invoke only females (the pagan deities); and instead of Him they invoke Satan the obstinate rebel 117 upon whom Allah has laid His curse. He said (to Allah): 'I will take to myself an appointed portion of Your servants 118 "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest. 119 He gives them promises and excites vain desires in them; and the Shaitan does not promise them but to deceive. 120 These are they whose abode is hell, and they shall not find any refuge from it. 121 As for those who believe and do good works. We shall admit them to Gardens through which rivers flow; wherein they will abide forever. This is a promise from God; and whose word could be truer than God's? 122 It is not your fancies, nor the fancies of the People of the Book. Whosoever does evil shall be recompensed for it, and will not find for him, apart from God, a friend or helper. 123 And whosoever does deeds of righteousness, be it male or female, believing - they shall enter Paradise, and not be wronged a single date-spot. 124 And who is there that has a fairer religion than he who submits his will to God being a good-doer, and who follows the creed of Abraham, a man of pure faith? And God took Abraham for a friend. 125 For, unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and indeed, God encompasses everything. 126
