The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
