Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
No! I swear by that you see 38 and all that you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
