The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And by the Day promised, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
