When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. 61 So when they had gone beyond that place, Moosa said to his assistant, “Bring our breakfast we have indeed faced great exertion in this journey of ours.” 62 He said, “Just imagine when we had taken shelter near the rock, so indeed I forgot the fish; and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it; and the fish took its way into the sea its amazing!” 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He said: Surely you cannot have patience with me 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 He said, 'Yet thou shalt find me, if God will, patient; and I shall not rebel against thee in anything.' 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
