In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), or use to slander him). 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
