The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
