Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
