See you not those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah? How are they turning away (from the truth, i.e. Islamic Monotheism to the falsehood of polytheism)? 69 Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Apostle; but they shall soon come to know, 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 (And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy. 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
