The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
