The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
