The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
