Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
