The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
