Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham? 24 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' And he replied: 'Peace, you are people unknown to me' 25 Then he went apart unto his housefolk so that they brought a fatted calf; 26 And placed it before them, (saying): "Will you not eat?" 27 Then he conceived a fear of them. They said: fear not. And they gave him the tidings of a youth knowing. 28 His wife came forward, crying and beating her face, saying, "I am an old barren woman!" 29 They said, "Even so has thy Lord spoken: and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge." 30 ۞ Abraham said: “Envoys (of Allah), what is your errand?” 31 They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah); 32 So as to let loose clods of clay on them 33 Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins). 34 We saved all the faithful in the town. 35 We therefore found just one house over there that was Muslim. 36 And so We left therein a message for those who fear the grievous suffering [which awaits all evildoers]. 37 There is another sign in Moses: We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority. 38 But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman." 39 So We seized him and his hosts and hurled them into the sea and he was blamable. 40 And in Ad: When We sent upon them the destructive wind. 41 It did not leave aught on which it blew, but it made it like ashes. 42 And in Thamud's also was a lesson, when it was said unto them: enjoy yourselves for a season. 43 But they rebelled against the command of their Lord. So the thunderbolt overtook them while they looked on: 44 Then they could not even stand (on their feet), nor could they help themselves. 45 [We destroyed] the people of Noah before them. They were certainly a sinful people. 46
