The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds, 2 the All-merciful, the All-compassionate, 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 It is You we worship and You we ask for help. 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
