Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
