So when the envoys came to the household of Lot, 61 He said, “You are an unfamiliar people.” 62 They said: Nay, we have come to you with that about which they disputed. 63 We bring you the truth, and indeed we are truthful. 64 So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded." 65 We issued this command to him, for they were going to be destroyed in the morning. 66 And the people of the town came rejoicing. 67 He said: verily these are my guests, so disgrace me not. 68 Fear Allah and do not disgrace me' 69 They said; Have we not forbidden you from (entertaining) anyone? 70 "Here are my daughters," said Lot, "if you are so active." 71 Verily, by your life (O Muhammad SAW), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly. 72 But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning, 73 And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. 74 Verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 75 The place (where this occurred) lies along a known route. 76 In this there is evidence (of the Truth) for the believers. 77 And the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers. 78 and We took vengeance on them. The two of them were upon a roadway manifest. 79
