Al-Isra 9 of 12
Establish regular prayers - at the sun's decline till the darkness of the night, and the morning prayer and reading: for the prayer and reading in the morning carry their testimony. 78 And as for the night, keep vigil a part of it, as a work of supererogation for thee; it may be that thy Lord will raise thee up to a laudable station. 79 And pray, “My Lord! Admit me with the truth and take me out with the truth*, and give me from Yourself a helpful dominance**.” (* Wherever I come or go ** Through spread of Islam.) 80 And proclaim, “The Truth has arrived and falsehood has vanished; indeed falsehood had to vanish.” (* With the arrival of the Last Prophet – Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) 81 We send down in the Quran that which is healing and a mercy to those who believe; as for the evil-doers, it only increases their loss. 82 When We bestow a favour upon a person, he turns his back and draws aside; and when evil afflicts him he gives himself up to despair. 83 Say thou: everyone worketh after his disposition, and your Lord is the Best Knower of him who is best guided on the way. 84
