We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
