1/4 Hizb 35
< random >
The notables among his people who had refused to believe and who denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and those whom We had endowed with ease and comfort in this life, cried out: "This is no other than a mortal like yourselves who eats what you eat and drinks what you drink. 33 and, indeed, if you pay heed to a mortal like yourselves, you will surely be the losers! 34 What! does he threaten you that when you are dead and become dust and bones that you shall then be brought forth? 35 ۞ Far-fetched, utterly far-fetched is what you are being promised. 36 There is naught but our life in this world; we die and we live and we shall not be raised again. 37 This man has forged a mere lie in the name of Allah and we shall never believe what he says." 38 The messenger said, "My Lord, help me, for they have rejected me." 39 He answered: "A short while, and they shall be repenting." 40 So the true Scream seized them We therefore made them like rotten hay; so away with the unjust people! 41 After them We brought another generation into existence. 42 No nation will precede its time [of termination], nor will they remain [thereafter]. 43 Then We sent Our Messengers in succession, every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another (to destruction), and We made them as Ahadith (the true stories for mankind to learn a lesson from them). So away with a people who believe not. 44 Thereafter We sent Musa and his brother Harun with Our signs and an authority manifest. 45 to Pharaoh and his Council, but they were very proud, and they were a tyrannical nation. 46 They said, "Should we believe in two mere mortals who are like ourselves and whose people are our slaves?" 47 Thus, they gave the lie to those two, and earned (thereby) their place among the doomed: 48 And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might be guided. 49 We made the son of Mary and his mother a miracle and settled them on a high land, quite secure and watered by a spring. 50

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
