Deem those in whose hearts is a disease that Allah will never bring to light their secret malevolence? 29 And if We please We would have made you know them so that you would certainly have recognized them by their marks and most certainly you can recognize them by the intent of (their) speech; and Allah knows your deeds. 30 Without doubt We shall test you until We know those who struggle and are patient among you, and make clear your news. 31 Those who disbelieved and barred others from Allah's Way and opposed the Messenger after the True Guidance had become manifest to them, they shall not be able to cause Allah the least harm; rather, Allah will reduce all their works to nought. 32 O believers, obey God, and obey the Messenger, and do not make your own works vain. 33 ۞ Verily those who disbelieve and hinder others from the way of Allah and then die as infidels, Allah shall by no means forgive them. 34 So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds. 35 The life of this world is only idle sport and play, and if you believe and guard (against evil) He will give you your rewards, and will not ask of you your possessions. 36 If He should ask it of you and importune you, ye would hoard it, and He would bring to light your (secret) hates. 37 Ha, there you are; you are called upon to expend in God's way, and some of you are niggardly. Whoso is niggardly is niggardly only to his own soul. God is the All-sufficient; you are the needy ones. If you turn away, He will substitute another people instead of you, then they will not be your likes. 38
