Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 "And give me a Minister from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 and let him share my task, 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 “You and your brother, both go with My signs, and do not slacken in My remembrance.” 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is He who made the earth a bed for you, and traced for you paths upon it, and sends down water from the sky, and brings out through it every kind of vegetation 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
