Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 noble scribes, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
