The dwellers of the wood belied the sent ones. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people, 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
