Say (O Prophet): “Allah suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. As for those who believe in falsehood and are engaged in infidelity with Allah, it is they who will be the losers.” 52 They ask you to hasten the punishment. Had there not been an appointed time for it, the punishment would already have come to them. Indeed it will come down upon them suddenly and catch them unawares. 53 They ask you to hasten the chastisement upon them although Hell encompasses the unbelievers. 54 They will be told on the Day of Judgment, when the torment will surround them from all sides, "Suffer the consequences of your deeds." 55 O My bondmen who believe! Indeed My earth is spacious – therefore worship Me alone. 56 Everyone shall taste the death. Then unto Us you shall be returned. 57 And those who believed and did good deeds – indeed We will, surely, place them on high positions in Paradise beneath which rivers flow, abiding in it for ever; what an excellent reward of the performers! 58 who remained steadfast and put their trust in their Lord! 59 How many a beast that bears not its own provision, but God provides for it and you! He is the All-hearer, the All-knower. 60 And thus it is [with most people]: if thou ask them, "Who is it that has created the heavens and the earth, and made the sun and the moon subservient [to His laws]?" - they will surely answer, "God." How perverted, then, are their minds! 61 God increases the means of those of His creatures as He please, or limits them for whomsoever He will. He is certainly cognisant of everything. 62 If you were to ask them: 'Who sends down water out of the sky and thereby revives the earth after it was dead?' They will reply: 'Allah.' Say: 'Praise, belongs to Allah.' No, but most of them do not understand. 63
