۞ Say thou: I but exhort you unto one thing: that ye stand, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then ponder; in your companion there is no madness; he is naught but a warner unto you preceding a torment severe. 46 Say: "No reward have I ever asked of you [out of anything] that is yours: my reward rests with none but God, and He is witness unto everything!" 47 Say: 'My Lord hurls the truth the Knower of the Unseen' 48 Say: "The truth has now come [to light, and falsehood is bound to wither away]: for, falsehood cannot bring forth anything new, nor can it bring back [what has passed away]." 49 Say, "If I go astray it will only be against my own soul, but if I receive guidance, it will be through my Lord's revelations." He is All-hearing and Omnipresent. 50 And could you see when they shall become terrified, but (then) there shall be no escape and they shall be seized upon from a near place 51 and then they will say, "We have faith in the Quran." How can they have any faith when they are far away from this world. 52 seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away? 53 And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial. 54
